She Shines Forth Brilliantly.

Lost in the dark, on the edge of hopelessness... she shines forth brilliantly... Quote. Poetry. #mentalhealth #mentalillness. #grief.

 Portrayed
no semblance of truth
Innermost
Hidden from view

Captured
in transient light
Blackness
cloaked in sunny

Radiant
in a haze of darkness
apparent
out of sight

Foretimes
consuming the present
Caught between
Fade to black

Thank you for allowing me to share

God bless you, and all those you love

Kimmie x

  3. Beautiful words, Kimmie. You express the emotions so clearly and beautifully. I feel the sad darkness behind the sunny exterior. How often do we put on that happy face. We may convince others. It's harder to convince ourselves.

  6. Wow ... This is so easy to relate to Kimmie. How we plaster a smile on our face when behind our eyes is the darkness we really feel ... How we play the part of "happy" on par with the worlds greatest actors.

    ((hugs)) lovely x
